Tresor Nkonko - Director

Tresor is a visionary leader dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children in Parow and beyond. His commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment for street children and facilitating their holistic development forms the backbone of El Theos Centre’s mission. With a hands-on approach, Tresor leads strategic planning, outreach, and program development, ensuring the Centre’s impact is far-reaching and sustainable.

Bijou Nkonko Bakole - Director

As a co-director, Bijou complements Tresor’s vision with her expertise in management and child welfare. She oversees administrative and logistical operations, ensuring the Centre’s resources are utilized effectively to maximize benefit for the children. Bijou’s compassionate approach is a guiding force, fostering an inclusive and family-like atmosphere at the Centre.

Joy Sands - Director

Joy brings a wealth of experience in community outreach and child advocacy to her role as Director. She focuses on external partnerships and community involvement, bridging the Centre with local and international supporters. Her dedication to children’s welfare strengthens El Theos Centre’s network and amplifies its mission to uplift the youth.

Yvonne Petersen - Social Worker

Yvonne is an experienced social worker deeply committed to supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of the children at El Theos Centre. She provides counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing support to help children navigate complex emotional landscapes, guiding them towards healing and growth.

Heather Burton

Heather’s role as Training Manager at El Theos Centre encompasses a holistic approach to skill-building. She designs programs in carpentry, sewing, life skills, and tutoring, equipping children with practical tools for growth. Through her integration of biblical teachings, Heather inspires confidence, creativity, and guides the children toward spiritual resilience and salvation.
