ECD Centre is part of the broader El Theos initiative, focusing specifically on providing care and education for young children, particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds.

We are located in Parow, near Cape Town, the ECD Centre plays a crucial role in nurturing children during their formative years, ensuring they receive the foundational support they need for healthy growth and development.

Age Group

The ECD Centre primarily caters to children from infancy (around 3 months old) to early childhood, typically up to 6 years of age. The goal is to prepare them for future schooling while also supporting their emotional and physical well-being.

Programs

Early Childhood Education : Teaching literacy, numeracy, and social skills through structured lessons, games, and creative activities.


Physical Care : Providing nutritious meals, hygiene, and a safe space where children can play and grow.


Emotional and Social Support: Encouraging positive social interactions, emotional stability, and a sense of community through group activities and guidance.


Spiritual Development: Integrating Bible stories and lessons into daily routines to provide spiritual nurturing.


Developmental Focus: The ECD Centre aims to foster holistic growth in children by addressing their physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual needs. The Centre strives to help children develop a sense of identity, confidence, and the skills they need to thrive as they move on to primary education.

Community and Parent Involvement: The Centre encourages active participation from parents and caregivers, fostering a strong bond between the home and the ECD environment. Parents are asked to pay fees by the 5th of each month, supporting the Centre’s operational needs.
